Each year we take our Year 7 pupils on a residential. This year, the residential will take place at Glaramara, an outdoors centre in the Lake District. Further details about the Glaramara centre can be found on their website: www.glaramara.co.uk.
We find that this is a fantastic opportunity for the students to get to know one another in their forms and make new friends in a relaxed and exciting setting.
The students are away for 3 days and 2 nights during the school week and are accommodated as form groups in single, twin and triple rooms.
Activities are predominantly outdoors, encourage the development of communication skills, teamwork and problem solving and are fully structured and supervised.
Further information about the trip including a letter is in the information pack distributed at Induction Evening in July.
